Hai Tong Zhan Yin

Chapter: 2

“Haitong, this is my eldest grandson Zhan Yin, an old leftover man who can’t be sold at the age of 30. However, although he is a little cold, he is still very considerate. You saved my life. We I have also known each other for three months, believe me, I will not sell you a bad grandson.”

Zhan Yin listened to grandma’s description of him, and cast a sidelong glance at Haitong with deep and cold eyes, but he didn’t say a word.

Probably because I have been rejected by my grandma too many times, so I have immunity.

Haitong knew that Grandma Zhan had three sons, and each of the three sons gave her three grandchildren. Her old man had nine grandsons in total, but she had no granddaughter. Because Haitong saved her, she and Haitong fell in love with each other. So he treated Haitong as his granddaughter.

“Grandma Zhan.”

Haitong’s face was slightly red, but she still extended her right hand to Zhan Yin generously, and introduced herself with a smile: “Mr. Zhan, hello, I’m Haitong.”

Zhan Yin’s sharp eyes cut Haitong from head to toe, and then from foot to head. After grandma coughed lightly to remind him, he stretched out his right hand and shook hands with Haitong. His voice was also low and cold: “Zhan Yin.”

After shaking hands, Zhan Yin raised his left hand to look at his watch, and said to Hai Tong: “I’m very busy, let’s make a quick decision.”

Haitong hummed.

Grandma Zhan hurriedly said: “You two go in and go through the formalities, I will wait for you here.”

“Grandma, get in the car, it’s hot outside.”

While talking, Zhan Yin helped grandma back to the car.

Looking at his actions, Haitong believed in Grandma Zhan’s words. Zhan Yin was indifferent, but he was also considerate.

Although she and him are strangers, Grandma Zhan said that he has a house under his name, and it is still paid for in full. If she marries him, she can move out of her sister’s house, and her sister can rest assured that she doesn’t have to keep arguing with her brother-in-law because of her.

Her marriage is just a life together.

Soon, Zhan Yin returned to Haitong and said to her, “Let’s go.”

Haitong hummed, and silently followed him into the Civil Affairs Bureau.

At the marriage registration office, Zhan Yin also reminded Hai Tong: “Miss Hai, if you don’t want to, you can still go back on your word. Don’t care what my grandma says. Marriage is a big deal and should not be trifled with.”

He hoped that Haitong would repent.

Because he doesn’t want to get married at all, let alone marry a strange girl he met for the first time today.

Haitong was just as grandma described, young, beautiful, and quite scholarly, but they were strangers.

His grandma talked about it in front of him for several months. His parents were very busy when he was a child. He was raised by his grandma himself, and he was the most filial to his grandma. At his grandma’s repeated request, he had no choice but to come here.

“Since I promised, I will not go back on my word.”

Haitong also thought about it for a few days before making a decision. Now that she has made a decision, she will not regret it.

Hearing what she said, Zhan Yin didn’t persuade her anymore, took out his ID card, and put it in front of the staff.

The same goes for Haitong.

During the process of going through the formalities, the two had no communication throughout the whole process. The staff reminded the two explicitly and secretly several times that this was a marriage.

They don’t want a couple of newlyweds to become a couple after receiving the certificate.

But the two were very determined, and the staff could only follow the steps and help the two go through the marriage formalities.

After receiving two marriage certificates from the staff, Zhan Yin opened them and looked at them, then handed one of them to Hai Tong, and said, “This is yours.”
