Chapter: 2600

“Of course they reject it, but that doesn’t stop them from using our stuff.”

“What an interesting country.”

Travis was cutting the steak: “If you have time, you can stay a few more days to see how Uber wins. I think the time is almost up. I will conquer this continent again like my ancestors.”

Fenton nodded: “It sounds grand. I like grand performances.”

The two of them picked up their wine glasses and just took a sip when they heard the sound of the door opening coming from the suite. Travis’s female secretary came and smiled at Fenton.

Travis raised his head: “Miss Anna, what’s the matter?”

“Mr. Cheng and Mr. Chen just called. I’m afraid they won’t be able to attend your dinner.”

“Why?”

“They said they were feeling unwell, but it sounded like they both had the same disease.”

Travis turned cold and said: “They are still delaying for no reason, so we won’t leave any room and we will crush them to ashes in the market.”

Fenton held the wine glass and thought for a moment: “Who is Mr. Cheng? Who is Mr. Chen?”

“The CEO of Kuaidi and Bibi, China’s local taxi-hailing platform.”

“Uber’s rival?”

Travis looked at him: “You must be drunk.”

Fenton grinned widely: “It sounds like you are very disdainful of your opponent?”

“Weakness is the original sin. I gave them a choice to merge into Uber and cash out. Although they promised, they kept delaying. Chinese businessmen really have no integrity at all.”

“All yellow people are like this.”

Later, after a Western meal, Travis planned to take Fenton to his China headquarters to have a look, so he asked Anna to call a car.

After the two people got in the car, Fenton looked at the surrounding street scene along the road and was attracted by the word “Didi” that could be seen everywhere.

“Uber only has two competitors in China: Bibi and Dike? Why do I always see this Didi? Ube has fewer ads than him.”

“A platform that works hard on marketing, but you can’t even see Uber’s taillights.”

“Anna, what’s written on that car?”

Anna, who was sitting in the passenger seat, looked out the window after listening: “Mr. Peter, it says Didi Taxi, low-carbon travel, which is also one of the advertisements.”

After hearing this, Travis also looked out the window and found that there seemed to be a lot of cars with “Didi Travel” written on them on the street, with different styles and brands, traveling in all directions on the roads.
